01Match care advice to the product
Colour, profile and product generation matter when requesting support. Keep the invoice and installation records so any care guidance can be matched to the exact cladding rather than to WPC as a broad category.
- Record product name and finish.
- Keep the current care document revision.
- Confirm advice before using chemicals or powered equipment.
02Inspect the complete visible wall
Look beyond the face of the board. Note changes at corners, openings, bases, tops, fixings and transitions, and check that intended drainage or ventilation paths have not been obstructed.
- Use dated overview and close-up photos.
- Record the location and timing of any change.
- Escalate movement, moisture or safety concerns to the responsible professional.
03Avoid unapproved repair assumptions
A coating, filler, abrasive method or replacement detail suitable for another cladding product may not suit WoodEver. Request current advice before altering the surface or concealed fixing arrangement.
- Do not hide evidence before support review.
- Test only when the current instructions permit it.
- Record approved repair steps and replacement product details.
